With climate change at the forefront of everyone’s mind, more than 10,000 visitors attended the Atlantic County Utilities Authority’s 31st Earth Day Festival held at the Environmental Park on Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township, according to a news release.
The festival featured more than 100 local vendors, numerous environmental workshops, hayrides to the county landfill, tours of the wind energy driven wastewater treatment plant, and more.
The inflatable activities generated more than $3,400 in donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
