Author and evangelical apologist Josh McDowell appears for two special events this weekend at the Ocean City Tabernacle.
On Saturday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., McDowell presents “Discover the Evidence,” a “tactical adventure through history and archeology” featuring ancient artifacts that can be seen and touched.
The interactive presentation will build the audience members’ confidence in the authenticity and reliability of the Bible, according to a Tabernacle news release.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and include lunch. They are available at octabernacle.org/events/conferences.
On Sunday, June 6, McDowell will speak on the necessity of parents building good relationships with their children in the Tabernacle’s 8:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary worship services.
A trailblazer for truth and relationships, McDowell has been at the forefront of cultural trends and groundbreaking ministry for over five decades, the release states.
Sharing essentials of the Christian faith in everyday language, he prepares youth, families, churches, and leaders for the life of faith and the work of the ministry.
Since 1960, McDowell has delivered more than 27,000 talks to over 25 million people in 125 countries. He has written or co-authored 148 books, including “More Than a Carpenter” and “New Evidence That Demands a Verdict,” recognized by World Magazine as one of the top 40 books of the 20th century. His books have been translated into 128 different languages.
