Tickets are now on sale for South Jersey’s premier food and beverage event. The 37th Annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala will be held on Thursday, April 16, in the Avalon Ballroom of Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.
The annual event celebrates food by highlighting hors d’oeuvres prepared by students in the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape and showcasing the specialties of 40 of the region’s best restaurants during a progressive dining experience. The event closes with an elegant dessert extravaganza offering a wide variety of sweet treats from local pastry chefs.
This year’s event will recognize the contributions of Community Honorees, Stephen and Dianne Nehmad (’72 & ’70), and celebrate the accomplishments of the Academy of Culinary Arts Honoree, Chef Bill McGinnity ’85.
Each year, nearly 1,000 food enthusiasts attend the Gala and have the opportunity to sample wine, beer, and spirits from local wineries, breweries, and distilleries, in addition to live music from the Dirty Dozen Dance Band.

Since its inception, the Atlantic Cape Restaurant Gala has raised well over $3.5 million for scholarships through the generous support of our community partners and corporate sponsors. As a result of their continued generosity, last year’s sold out event raised $234,475 and was attended by over 900 guests.
