Shore Physicians Group in Somers Point announced that vascular surgeons Leonard Galler, MD, FACS, and Gary Feinberg, MD, FACS, have joined its surgical division at 649 Shore Road in Somers Point.
Formerly with GFH Surgical Associates in Somers Point, doctors Galler and Feinberg are transitioning their patients to the SPG office and welcoming new patients.
Dr. Galler, who is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery, has a longstanding relationship with Shore Medical Center. He has served as chairman of its Department of Surgery since 2000. He has been actively involved on Shore’s Cancer and Credentials committees, served as president of its medical staff, and is a surgical medical faculty member for the post-graduate peri-operative nursing school at Shore.
Additionally, Dr. Galler has been named Top Doctor by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. He received his medical degree from Mount Sinai Medical School and completed his residency in general surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital.
Dr. Feinberg received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his general and vascular surgery training at Pennsylvania Hospital. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery.
Dr. Feinberg has been associated with Shore Medical Center for over 30 years. In that time, he has served as President of the Medical Staff, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, surgical division director and in many other leadership positions. He is a member of multiple local and national professional societies.
