Shore Medical Center recognized Lightkeeper’s Society Liaison Jessica Mazzoni as its November 2018 Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients.
The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable members of the community to say thank you to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center.
Mazzoni joined the Shore family in 2016. As a Lightkeeper’s Society Liaison, she helps members of Shore’s Lightkeeper’s Society by advocating on their behalf and helping them navigate the healthcare system, ensuring they have the best possible experience at Shore.
Mary McGuckin, manager of the Lightkeeper’s Society & Grateful Patient programs, said Mazzoni is willing to do whatever is needed to support Lightkeeper’s Society members and her fellow liaisons.
“Jessica’s cheerful personality and smile are a positive influence on anyone around her. She is a dedicated, compassionate and valuable member of our team,” McGuckin said.
Recently a patient and Lightkeeper’s Society member who Mazzoni assisted made a Grateful Patient donation in her honor, saying:
“It really had to have been one of the best possible hospital experiences we ever had. Jessica was a very important part of that!”
Mazzoni resides in Seaville with her husband and their daughter.
The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care or experience.
Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
