The ninth annual Somers Point Restaurant Week (SPRW) will be held Friday, Nov. 2, through Sunday, Nov. 11, offering prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner at participating restaurants throughout the city.

Restaurant Week is an opportunity to “Sip and Savor” Somers Point at one of 18 unique and popular eateries at an affordable price, according to a city press release.

New: Feed a Family Campaign

SPRW will partner with the Community Food Bank from Nov. 2-11 to raise money for the “Feed a Family” fundraiser, where diners can opt to add a $1, $3 or $5 donation to their bill to help fight hunger in southern New Jersey during the upcoming holiday season.

New: 10-day Eat, Dine & Be Social Contest – #SPRW18

During Restaurant Week, guests are encouraged to check in, photograph and post to social media their favorite Restaurant Week lunch and dinner courses with the hashtag #SPRW18. For every restaurant at which a diner checks in and/or tags their dining location, they will earn a chance to win a Restaurant Week gift basket valued at $250. Participants can post their photos and join the social conversation on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SomersPointRestaurantWeek. Contestants should be sure to use the event hashtag #SPRW18 to make their posts count.

New: Jazzing Up Restaurant Week

Somers Point Restaurant Week is partnering with the South Jersey Jazz Society to combine culinary specialties at each location with the Art of Jazz for a unique dining experience. Follow your favorite Jazz soloists each night as you dine your way through Somers Point.

Participating Restaurants

More Somers Point restaurants than ever are participating in Restaurant Week this year, with a total of 19 locations offering prix-fixe dining menus. While some participating restaurants are offering either a two-course lunch for $12.18 or a three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $27.18 – most are offering both.

Other Town Tastes

Adding to the excitement of Somers Point Restaurant Week, Passion Vines in the Somers Point Shopping Center is once again proud to present its very own Restaurant Week Wine Tasting event on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 2-4 p.m.

Culinary students from Atlantic Cape Community College’s program will be providing small plates that will pair perfectly with the wine picked by Passion Vines’ own wine aficionados. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the event by the Somers Point Jazz Society.
