Shore Medical Center to host the Kona Ice “Koolest Kid” contest at its Farmers Market & Craft Fair , Friday, August 4

Winner receives free Kona Ice each week for the summer, and leads the Shore team in the Ocean City Baby Parade on August 10

Is your Son or Daughter the Apple of Your Eye? Is your baby just the cutest little “Sweet Pea?” Is your child as “cool as a cucumber?” Then bring them and the whole family to Shore Medical Centers Farmer’s Market & Craft Fair on Friday, August 4 and you could win free Kona Ice each week for the rest of the summer!

Plus the winner and their family will lead the Shore Medical Center team in the baby parade in Ocean city on August 10. Shore Medical Center announced that it is proud to partner with Kona Ice on its “Kona Ice Koolest Kid” contest on Friday, August 4. Children under the age of 10 are encouraged to participate. Participants can dress in fruit and/or vegetable themed costumes, or whatever they think is cool!

Parents – be as creative as you like! The contest will take place at 4pm next to the Kona Ice truck which is located along New York Avenue each week at Shore’s Farmers Market & Craft Fair. One grand prize winner will be selected. That winner and up to 3 family members will receive one free Kona Ice each week at the Shore Medical Center Farmers Market & Craft Fair through Friday September 8.

The winner and their family will also walk with the Shore team in the annual baby parade in Ocean City on Thursday, August 10. All participating children will receive a prize.

Background:

Shore Medical Center partnered with local event company, The AC Hub, and local volunteer organization, Somers Point-Community First, to bring the 2017 Farmers Market and Craft Fair to Somers Point, NJ.

This market is held every Friday through September 8, from 2 pm to 6pm. It is located in front of the hospital on Bay Avenue between Medical Center Way and New York Avenue.

A portion of the proceeds from the weekly event will be donated to Shore’s Cancer Center.
