Inspired by a real life encounter with a true believer in spiritualism, Gian Carlo Menotti’s eerie opera The Medium is a perfect pre-Halloween production to get audiences in the mood for the ooky spooky! The Medium is a two act, dramatic opera that was mounted on Broadway in 1947 and continues to be a much loved operatic work.
