For consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Registrar Daniel Gomez has been named the medical center’s February 2017 Employee of the Month.
Gomez came to Shore in 2008 as a volunteer for the emergency department and transport teams when he was a freshman in high school. He later became an employee in Access Management on an as-needed basis, eventually shifting to part-time status, working in the ED and, most recently, as an Outpatient Registrar. Gomez has done all this while juggling his studies at Atlantic Cape Community College and Rutgers University, from which he recently graduated.
Gomez has earned the respect of his peers for his work ethic, easy going personality and kind and gentle demeanor. They say he is the ultimate team player, who wants what’s best for the entire department and offers his own expertise to troubleshoot problems whenever they arise.
Gomez is surprised and honored to have been selected by his colleagues as Employee of the Month.
“I have enjoyed my time at Shore, from my volunteer experiences to my current position. I have met many wonderful people over the years,” Gomez says.
Gomez resides in Egg Harbor Township and enjoys swimming, jogging, and playing video and board games with his friends.
