The Somers Point Police Department is thanking the members of the South Shore Stitches Guild for their donation of 30 handmade comfort quilts.
Their hard work and talents will be distributed to Shore Medical Center Pediatrics as well as local families that the police department shops for during the holiday season.
“We appreciate the time and care that you put into each quilt,” the department said in a Facebook post.
