Beginning Friday, Nov. 22 and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 1, the Atlantic County Animal Shelter is waiving the regular $110 adoption fee for dogs that “Can Go Home Today.”
All pets adopted from the shelter receive mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and free veterinary consultation. Canines adopted from the shelter are also provided free obedience classes.
The shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville and is open to the public 1-4 p.m. each day. Appointments are not necessary.
