Applications are now being accepted for art and history funding grants.

Applications for the 2025 state arts and history grants are now available through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.

The office regranted more than $226,000 to successful local non-profit applicants in 2024 for projects that promote art or history and provide public benefit and accessibility, according to a county news release.

To help organizations develop and enhance their funding proposals, a free grant workshop will be offered on Tuesday, September 3, to assist with certain components of the grant proposal.

The workshop is mandatory for all potential applicants, except for current 2024 regrantees. The workshop will be held at 6 PM at the Atlantic County Library system’s Hammonton branch, 451 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, the release states.

To register for the workshop and access downloadable applications, go to http://www.atlanticcountynj.gov/government/county-departments/department-of-executive-and-administrator/office-of-cultural-and-heritage-affairs/arts-and-history-grant-information.

Grant funding is provided through New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission. The deadline for submission of all grant applications is Oct. 11.
