After an exhilarating start to the 31st annual AtlantiCare Concerts on the Beach series, the summer concert series lineup in Somers Point has just been announced.
Prepare for music at William Morrow Beach, situated between Higbee and New Jersey Avenues. Concerts all begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their beach chairs and blankets.
The venue has bayfront views and a wheelchair-accessible area near the stage.
Over the past few weeks, there has been a host of shows. From country rhythms to pop beats, there has been something for everyone to enjoy.
On July 12, enjoy a special night for the ladies with a double feature: MTV artist Dana Fuchs delivering her roots rock hits, followed by Patty Balbo’s tribute to the women of rock ‘n’ roll in “The Girls Can’t Help It.”
Then, on July 19, groove to the rhythms of the Phantom Blues Band with soul singer Curtis Salgado and enjoy a performance by violinist and vocalist Heather “Lil’ Mama” Hardy.
