Kids Can Learn How to Become a Jr. Park Ranger on Wednesday

The Atlantic County Division of Parks and Recreation will hold an introductory session with several children for its new Jr. Park Ranger program that was developed in cooperation with the Great Egg Harbor Watershed Association.

The session will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Warren E. Fox Nature Center in the Atlantic County Park located in Estell Manor at 109 Rt. 50 South, Mays Landing.

The Jr. Park Ranger program is free and provides opportunities for children 3 years and older to explore the county’s parks system and participate in activities and discussions with park rangers and staff.

Those who complete the program will earn a Junior Ranger badge and certificate.
