A coastal flood warning remains in effect from Monday through 3 a.m. on Wednesday, with the potential for widespread roadway flooding around the times of high tides as a strong coastal storm moves through the region, according to an Atlantic County news release.

Low-lying roadways including the Black Horse and White Horse pikes leading into and out of Atlantic City may be periodically closed due to flooding.

Motorists are reminded not to drive through flood waters and to seek alternate routes and plan travel time accordingly.
