For consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s mission, vision and values, the hospital is proud to announce that Respiratory Therapist Paul Patel has been named May Employee of the Month.
Patel has been a member of the Respiratory Therapy Department for 15 years. He is a strong patient advocate who understands the importance of consistency and quality in patient care, according to a news release.
While Patel is proficient and efficient with his own assignments, he is also always willing to help his coworkers and to onboard new respiratory therapists, readily sharing his expertise and experience. Patel is also a strong Charge Therapist, leads by example and sets high standards for himself, the release stated.
Director of Respiratory Karen McKinley said, “I have relied heavily on Paul over this past year to assist me and he always comes through. He is most willing to help with department projects and initiatives. He goes above and beyond to assist with the daily operations of the department.”
Patel lives in Egg Harbor Township with his wife and four children. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym.
