Shore Medical Center will be hosting a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the hospital along Bay Ave. in Somers Point.
In addition to more than 1,000 United States flags planted on the lawn, there will be a banner posted to honor veterans in the community, as well as those who are friends and family members of the city.
Everyone is encouraged to submit a name of a veteran to be honored on this banner.
For more information, visit www.shoremedicalcenter.org and complete a brief form by Thursday, Nov. 3, so that the banner can be ready for the ceremony.
