The Somers Point Historical Society is urging homeowners and businesses to light up their Christmas decorations along Shore Road during the city’s holiday parade starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The idea is to make the parade route more festive with decorations on Shore Road between Dawes Avenue and New Jersey Avenue.
In addition to Christmas decorations, homeowners and businesses are also urged to turn on their porch lights and floodlights during the parade.
The parade will start at the Dawes Avenue School and roll along Shore Road to City Hall.
