The Somers Point Police Department is inviting residents, businesses and organizations to get creative for the fall season by building their best family-friendly scarecrows.
The scarecrows will be part of the police department’s annual Scarecrow Contest. They will be put on display during a Scarecrow Walk on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the Somers Point Bike Path from New Jersey Avenue to Connecticut Avenue.
Walkers will vote for their favorite scarecrow. The winning prize is a four-pack of tickets to Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township.
