Shore Medical Center has named Maternal Fetal Medicine Perinatal Sonographer Vanessa Druker as its September Employee of the Month.
Druker was selected for consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying the organization’s mission, vision, and values, according to a news release.
A resident of Vineland, Druker has been with Shore since 2008, beginning her career in the radiology department before transitioning to Maternal Fetal Medicine. Certified in fetal echocardiography, she provides high-quality ultrasound imaging for high-risk obstetrics patients.
Lisa Lappin, Nurse Manager of Maternal Fetal Medicine, says that Druker is an invaluable member of their team.
“As a perinatal sonographer, Vanessa performs high quality imaging for our high risk OB population. She works closely with our Penn Medicine specialists and our nurses to provide the best comprehensive care for our patients. She is consistently praised for her high quality imaging, is fetal echo certified and is frequently requested by our patients to do their ultrasound,” Lappin said in the release.
In addition to her technical excellence, Druker is known for her willingness to assist with anything needed, whether it’s covering shifts, handling complex cases, or ensuring smooth office operations, Lappin added.
“I’m proud to have Vanessa on our team. Her passion for her work and commitment to producing the highest quality imaging set an example for all,” Lappin said.
Outside of work, Druker enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
