Poetry in the Park is an event to enjoy the spoken words of local published poets and includes music by guitarist Marc Wasserman.
It will be held Sunday, Aug. 11, from 6-7:30 p.m. in John F. Kennedy Park.
There will also be time for open mic poetry readings.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
