IT Security Officer Receives Shore Medical Center’s Leadership Profile Award

Shore Medical Center announced that Christine Gray, IT Security Officer and Technical Business Delivery Manager, has been awarded the prestigious Leadership Profile Award.

This honor is bestowed upon a manager who demonstrates exceptional job performance and embodies the characteristics most valued in Shore’s leadership.

Gray, of Somers Point, began her employment with Shore Medical Center in 2000 and has since made remarkable contributions, particularly in developing innovative and efficient IT solutions, according to a hospital news release.

As an experienced project manager, she oversees a diverse portfolio of IT projects, including the implementation and upgrades related to critical applications, hardware, and network infrastructure. Gray’s strategic vision and commitment to operational excellence are the foundational elements needed to consistently meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.

Fred Banner, Chief Information Officer at Shore Medical Center, praised Gray for her exceptional leadership qualities, stating, “Christine is a gifted and talented leader who consistently exemplifies integrity, loyalty and commitment in service to Shore’s patients, caregivers and their team.”

“She can always be counted on the do the right thing and to do what it takes to get the job done. Held in high regard by her peers and colleagues, Christine earns the trust and respect of the many leaders she partners with in support of our mission. Her passion and dedication are second to none. We are fortunate that Christine chooses to be a part of our team,” Banner continued.

In receiving the Leadership Profile Award, Gray expressed her gratitude towards her team, emphasizing the importance of their collective efforts.

“Being chosen for the Leadership Profile Award is a great honor, but the real achievement is the success we attain together as a team,” Gray said in the release. “This collaborative spirit is at the heart of everything we do, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented individuals.”

Gray holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Information System Security. She is also a proud wife and mother of three grown children, each pursuing successful careers: one as a pharmacist, another as an aspiring CPA, and the youngest is set to begin nursing school this fall.
