More than 25,000 people are expected to crowd Somers Point’s lively waterfront for the annual Bayfest extravaganza this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bayfest will offer music, live entertainment, arts and crafts, kid-friendly activities and plenty of food and drink to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
The festival is Somers Point’s most popular annual event, tracing its beginnings back to the Earth Day celebration in 1989.
Bayfest will unfold for blocks along historic Bay Avenue, between Pleasant and Annie avenues, among the bars, restaurants and shops overlooking the waterfront.
