The Atlantic County Animal Shelter invites you to fall in love this Valentine’s Day by adopting an animal in its care.
“There is no greater feeling than the unconditional love you receive from a pet,” stated Shelter Manager Kathy Kelsey. “They help brighten the most trying days.”
To sweeten the pot, the shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs available for immediate adoption beginning Thursday, February 1 through Friday, February 16.
The shelter also provides a 50% discount on adoption fees for senior pets and cats available for immediate adoption. Veterans who adopt a pet receive a 50% discount.
Regular adoption fees are $110 for dogs and puppies and $85 for cats and kittens and include mandatory sterilization, age appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and free veterinary consultation. Adopted canines also receive two free obedience classes.
