A year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect Jan. 26 on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for bridge reconstruction.
The closing of that stretch of Somers Point-Mays Landing Road will follow the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, according to an Atlantic County traffic advisory.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
