Get your creative juices flowing with a writers group starting on Sunday, Jan. 21.
The group will meet monthly, the third Sunday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Somers Point Senior Center located at 22 N. Ambler Road.
Bring a cup of coffee or tea and join Shana Kestrel for the free monthly meet-up, which is presented by the Somers Point Arts Commission.
The group is for anyone seeking inspiration and community connection through creativity in a supportive environment.
Every month Kestrel will guide attendees through a different mindfulness exercise that will segue into several timed writing prompts, followed by a group discussion and optional sharing.
No experience is necessary. The facility is wheelchair accessible. The group is for anyone age 18 and older.
