Emergency mechanical repairs of the Dorset Avenue Bridge in Ventnor will begin Monday, Oct. 16, and continue for several weeks.
Lane shifts will be in effect 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday. Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Sidewalk closures will also be in effect in the work zone, one side at a time, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Signage will direct pedestrians to the open sidewalk.
Pedestrians should cross Dorset Avenue using the designated crosswalks at the signalized intersections at Ventnor Avenue and at Monmouth Avenue.
