The Ocean City Tabernacle welcomes Ann Voskamp to speak at the 8:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services on Sunday, July 30.

Voskamp is the wife of a farmer, mother of seven children and the author of four New York Times bestsellers: “The Broken Way,” “The Greatest Gift,” “Unwrapping the Greatest Gift,” and the 60-week New York Times bestseller “One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are,” which has sold more than 1.5 million copies and has been translated into more than 20 languages.

Named by Christianity Today as one of 50 women most shaping culture and the church today, Voskamp knows “unspoken broken,” big country skies, and an intimacy with God that touches tender places, according to a Tabernacle news release.

Co-founder of ShowUpNow.com, Voskamp is a passionate advocate for the marginalized and oppressed around the globe, partnering with Mercy House Global, Compassion International, and artisans around the world through her fair-trade community, Grace Crafted Home, the release says.

Also appearing at the Tabernacle on July 30 will be Grammy and Dove Award-winning Christian recording artist Russ Taff. From the Gaither Vocal Band to the Imperials and on to a successful solo career, Taff’s eclectic style ranges from southern gospel to blues rock.

Taff’s free concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. for first-come, first-served seating and a hymn sing at 6:30 p.m.

The Ocean City Tabernacle also hosts Boardwalk Worship at the Music Pier on Sundays at 8 a.m., with music by Jane Zigner and a message by Rev. Terry Lothian.
