The Ocean City Tabernacle welcomes Lysa TerKeurst for a special Women’s Event on Saturday, July 8, at 7 p.m. and to speak at the 8:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services on Sunday, July 9.
TerKeurst is president of Proverbs 31 Ministries and the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of “It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way,” “Uninvited,” “The Best Yes,” “Unglued,” “Made to Crave” and 18 other books.
She has sold more than six million copies of her books. Her latest book, “It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way,” appeared on Publishers Weekly’s bestseller lists 36 weeks in 2019 and is still on national bestseller lists almost two years after publication.
“TerKeurst is passionate about God’s Word, and her deepest desire is to help others experience Jesus by unpacking Scripture in the most true and responsible ways so that everyone can relate to and understand how to apply what they learn,” according to a Tabernacle news release.
Each year, she is a featured keynote presenter at more than 40 events across North America, including the Global Leadership Network, Catalyst Leadership Summit, Lifeway Conferences, and Women of Joy.

Also appearing at the Tabernacle on Sunday, July 9, will be the Grammy-nominated band Sanctus Real. With eight No. 1 singles, 17 Top 10 radio hits and more the 750,000 albums sold, Sanctus Real has been a mainstay in Christian music for more than 25 years.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. for first-come, first-served seating and pre-concert worship led by Dave Pettigrew at 6:30 p.m.
The Ocean City Tabernacle also hosts Boardwalk Worship at the Music Pier on Sundays at 8 a.m. with music by Jane Zigner and a message by Rev. Terry Lothian.
