Phillies Chaplain, The King’s Brass Appear at Ocean City Tabernacle on July 2

The Ocean City Tabernacle welcomes Phillies Chaplain Jeff Boettcher to speak at the 8:30 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services on Sunday, July 2.

Boettcher is the founding and lead pastor of Christ Church South Philadelphia. He has a passion for helping people connect the good news of Jesus Christ to the everyday stuff of their lives. He serves as the main preacher at Christ Church and leads in implementing the church’s mission and vision, according to a Tabernacle news release.

Pastor Jeff also serves as the team chaplain for the Philadelphia Phillies and is a leader in several church-planting collaborates in Philadelphia and the Northeast Region.

Also returning to the Tabernacle on July 2 will be Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass for an evening patriotic celebration and instrumental worship. The free concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. for first-come, first-served seating and a hymn sing at 6:30 p.m.

The Tabernacle also hosts Boardwalk Worship at the Ocean City Music Pier on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. with music by Jane Zigner and a message by Rev. Terry Lothian.
