The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is hosting a Job Fair 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Environmental Park, 6700 Delilah Road, in Egg Harbor Township.

The goal of the event is to educate job seekers about ACUA’s many services and the career opportunities available. ACUA is looking to fill positions for drivers, seasonal laborers, instrumentation technician, lab analyst and mechanic II.

Attendees will speak with hiring managers and receive information about ACUA’s employee benefits.

Full-time ACUA employees have access to benefits and retirement programs that support them and their families, including competitive health insurance, dental, vision and prescription drug plans, Public Employees Retirement System membership, paid vacation, 13 paid holidays and more.

ACUA offers employees many opportunities for growth within the organization. Eligible employees interested in advancing to driver positions can participate in an on-site CDL training program.

The program is in partnership with the Atlantic County Workforce Development Office and Mike’s Driving School. Since the program was enacted in 2022, 19 employees have received their commercial driver’s license.

“Working at ACUA is more than just a job, it’s a career,” ACUA President Rick Dovey said. “We are proud to employ many local residents who have created long-lasting and rewarding careers within the organization.”

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for a position online before attending the Job Fair. For a full list of opportunities available and more information regarding careers with ACUA, visit www.acua.com/careers.
