The Atlantic County Animal Shelter joins in celebrating the Memorial Day weekend and unofficial start of summer by waiving all adoption fees for dogs and cats adopted from the shelter beginning Friday through Monday, May 29.
All adopted pets receive mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and a free veterinary consultation. Adopted dogs also receive free obedience classes.
Normal adoption fees are $110 for dogs and $85 for cats.

The shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville and is open to the public by appointment seven days a week, 1-4 p.m.
