In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month, the Atlantic County Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC) will present “Just Talk About It,” a virtual speaker program that addresses mental health and suicide prevention on May 16.
Speaker Jordan Burnham, from Minding Your Mind, is a survivor of a suicide attempt during his senior year of high school. He will share his powerful story of fighting depression and finding recovery during his “Just Talk About It” sessions to support parents, caregivers and youth.
A session geared to adults will be presented at 9-10:30 a.m. and a second session for students in grades 9-12 will be presented at 3:30-5 p.m.
Both sessions are free, but registration is required using the QR code below. Those who register will receive a confirmation email with additional information.
