The Arc of Atlantic County, in partnership with the New Jersey Division of Vocation Rehabilitation and N.J. Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, will host a hiring event for people living with disabilities who are seeking full- and part-time employment positions.

The event will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at The Arc of Atlantic County’s main campus, 6550 Delilah Road, Suite 101, in Egg Harbor Township. Reservations are requested by Feb. 13.

People in southern New Jersey who live with disabilities will have the opportunity to meet with area employers to explore current job opportunities.

“We know that people with disabilities make great employees,” Arc CEO Scott Hennis said. “We are excited to offer this opportunity for employers to connect with people living with disabilities as they work to fill openings in their workforce.”

In addition to the job hiring event, several community partners will host resource tables with information on a variety of services available.

To reserve a spot, email Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Irene Perez at Irene.Perez@dol.nj.gov or call 609-947-5807 by Feb. 13.
