Shore Medical Center and Penn Cardiology Somers Point invite the community to “Let’s Have a Heart-to-Heart,” an education breakfast and heart health expo 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Linwood Country Club, 500 Shore Road.

The free event will feature a continental breakfast, health screenings and presentations by Penn Cardiology Somers Point physicians Gene Iucci and Millee Singh, and  nurse practitioner Jane Weisbecker, director of the Shore Wound Care Center.

Guests are encouraged to arrive promptly at 9:30 to take full advantage of health screenings before the presentations, including blood pressure screenings, cardiac risk and BMI assessments, diabetic glycemic education, low-impact exercise demonstrations, CPR instruction and more.

Presentations will begin at approximately 10:30, with Dr. Iucci leading with a talk on why exercise is so important for heart health. Next, Dr. Singh will talk about heart health in women.
