If you don’t find everything you’re hoping for under your Christmas tree, consider visiting the Atlantic County Animal Shelter on Christmas Day to meet the lovable dogs and cats available for immediate adoption.
As a gift from the shelter, all adoption fees for eligible pets will be reduced to $25 on Christmas Day.
Typically, these fees are $110 for dogs and $85 for cats. All adopted pets will receive mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and free veterinary consultation.
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter, located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville, is open daily, by appointment, including Christmas Day.
