Trick or Treat night will be held in Somers Point on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Somers Point Police Department is cautioning parents to make sure that all children are instructed to cross all streets at the corners.
Light-colored clothing is recommended, and the children should be warned that all treats should be thoroughly examined before being consumed.
Additional police patrols will be on duty for the enhanced protection of the children and parents who will be out trick-or-treating.
