Through the Economic Development Advisory Commission and Bicycle Advisory Committee, Somers Point has been working to improve bicycle safety throughout the community, according to the city’s website somerspointgov.org.
Current and upcoming projects also include bike lanes on Somers Point/Mays Landing Road, which will connect the existing bike path, Route 52 and the Garden State Parkway bridge, providing bicycling access to Cape May County.
