Stockton University has partnered with a dozen major Atlantic City businesses to help fill the summer labor shortage with students in a new pilot Atlantic City Summer Experience “Live, Work and Learn” program.

About 150 Stockton students are working in nine casino hotels, plus AtlantiCare, Steel Pier and FantaSea Resorts.

In exchange, the students receive free summer housing at the beachfront Stockton Residential Complex paid for by the employers. They also are taking a free online four-credit course on career readiness and leadership.
