The Cape Atlantic Coalition for Health and Shore Medical Center are presenting a free webinar that is designed to help parents learn how to effectively talk to their kids about tobacco.
Each day an estimated 1,600 young people will try their first cigarette, and thousands more will try vaping. But with the right support and information, parents can help their children avoid tobacco.
The “Can We Talk?” webinar will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, and will be led by Michaela Knoll, a certified health education and tobacco treatment specialist with the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative.
Parents will expect to leave the webinar feeling prepared and confident to talk to their child about this important topic.
