The Atlantic County Utilities Authority will host its 30th annual Earth Day Festival 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at the ACUA Environmental Park, 6700 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township.
The festival, held rain or shine, is the largest and longest running Earth Day festival in South Jersey. There will be lots of free, fun and educational activities for everyone.
The celebration has many events and entertainment options throughout the day, including 150 vendors and crafters, tours of the Wastewater Facility Wind Farm and Recycling Center, eco-hayrides, and a petting zoo. Workshops are scheduled on many Earth-friendly topics, including yoga, native plants, and a rain barrel demonstration.
Vendor applications are still being accepted, and volunteers of all ages are needed.
