Following the guidance of New Jersey’s Department of Health and medical staff, Shore Medical Center in Somers Point will be allowing visitors on a limited basis beginning Monday.
One visitor at a time per patient will be permitted, with a maximum stay of 2 hours per visitor.
Starting Monday, visiting hours will be as follows:
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Please visit the Shore website at the link below prior to your visit. The policy for visitors may vary slightly depending on the patient’s condition and reason for being cared for at Shore.
Shore administration said in a statement on the hospital’s Facebook page that they appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation as they continue to take every possible measure to provide the highest quality of care, while ensuring the safety of their patients and staff throughout the pandemic.
