For consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Beth Huebner, RN, of its 5 Hayes unit, has been named the medical center’s January 2018 Employee of the Month.
Huebner joined the 5 Hayes unit in December 2015, and has blossomed over the past two years. Always available and eager to support her co-workers, she recently assumed the role of nursing preceptor in addition to her clinical role. As preceptor, Huebner serves as a teacher and mentor to new nurses.
“Beth can be relied on in any clinical situation,” says Nurse Manager Kelly Duma, who nominated Beth for this recognition. “She is always there to comfort and care for her patients.”
Huebner says the staff and support system at Shore Medical Center are great. “I felt especially supported as a new nurse, and that support continues to this day. I could not do my job without the team we have on 5 Hayes.”
Huebner has an associate degree in applied science from Atlantic Cape Community College and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University. She enjoys reading, arts and crafts and spending time with her daughter, Amelia.
