For consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Pharmacist Susannah Price, PharmD, has been named the medical center’s August 2017 Employee of the Month.
Price was hired in 2013 after completing her residency at Shore Medical Center. In her role as the ED clinical pharmacist, she is involved in many patient care decisions in addition to those related to medications. She is always available to educate staff and inform them of any medication-related changes. Price’s commitment to excellence has helped countless patients experiencing a stroke to quickly and effectively receive the clot-busting medication needed to help lessen and even reverse the effects of a stroke.
Annmarie Guerrieri, the ED’s Nurse Manager, says “We value her expertise and knowledge, and we are grateful to have her part of our team.”
Price is thrilled to be working at Shore Medical Center in a position she has always dreamed about.
“My biggest goal at work is to help all those I come into contact with, and I’m honored to be recognized for my efforts,” Price says.
A resident of Audubon, NJ, Price enjoys traveling and keeping active by running and kickboxing.
