Brighter and warmer days ahead as we shake off this gloomy and damp stretch of weather. Sunshine will return Thursday as high pressure builds in. Westerly winds will also help temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s!

A weak front could give us the chance of a shower or t’storm but overall, it will be a decent day. Sunshine mixing with clouds and high temperatures into the 70s once again.

The start of this weekend is looking good. Saturday will be the sunniest and driest day of the weekend. High temperatures should reach into the low 70s before dropping back into the 60s.

The second half of the weekend is looking not so good. A storm system to our west will move in bringing clouds along with chance of showers. The timing of this system is still in question. IT is too soon to determine if most of the rain will fall during the day on Sunday or hold off until Sunday night into Monday.

BOAT & BEACH

Waves will be rather calm through the period only around 1-2ft with ocean temperatures still running around 60 degrees. UV index will be very high Thursday through Saturday so use that sunblock! Sunday’s UV index will be low due to lack of sunshine and showers.

COOLER TEMPERATURES RETURN

Looking ahead to next week shows a return to cooler and unsettled weather. No Summer heat in sight as High temperatures will only reach the mid 60s to low 70s.

6-10 day temperature outlook show below normal temperatures expected across much of the Eastern U.S.
