Quality Data Analyst Kristina Liwoch, of Mays Landing, was recognized as Shore Medical Center’s January 2017 Employee of the Month for delivering outstanding patient-centered care.

(SOMERS POINT, NJ – March 7, 2017) – For consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Quality Data Analyst Kris Liwoch has been named the medical center’s January 2017 Employee of the Month.

Liwoch came to Shore Medical Center nearly 30 years ago as a pharmacy technician. Over the years, she has held a variety of positions at Shore, including health unit coordinator, nursing administration office manager, training coordinator, and manager of unit coordinating and reports.

As Quality Data Analyst in the Performance Improvement Department, Liwoch holds many responsibilities, including gatekeeper for the Leapfrog Survey, which assesses hospital safety, quality, and efficiency. The Leapfrog Group has awarded Shore Medical Center with an “A” safety grade five times in a row, and Liwoch is a big part of the efforts that led to this recognition.

“Kris displays every characteristic you would want in an outstanding employee,” says Valerie DeJoseph, Administrative Director for Quality, Performance Improvement and Regulatory. “She is always pleasant and positive. Working with her is a great experience.”

Liwoch is grateful for the recognition and honored to be a part of an organization that provides high quality healthcare to its community.

“I am surrounded by knowledgeable, experienced and caring professionals who always put the patient first. Shore is like family to me,” Liwoch said.

In fact, Liwoch’s mother, Diedra, worked at Shore for many years, and her daughter, Katelynn Schuman, is a current Shore employee as well.

Liwoch lives in Mays Landing with her husband Mark and together they have four children. She enjoys antiquing, camping and traveling across the country to see her favorite music group, The Temptations.
